B.A., Political Science, SUNY New Paltz

I am a doctoral candidate (ABD) with a focus in American Politics and Quantitative Methodology. I study representation, participation and mobilization, experimental methods, and political networks. Specifically, my research is motivated by an interest in understanding (1) what kind of representation citizens want from government and their elected officials, and (2) whether citizens get this representation through political participation and engagement.

I currently serve as a UMass Poll Research Fellow, the Editorial Book Review Associate for the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis, and a Research Assistant for Professor Justin Gross. I also work with the Environmental Defense Fund designing large-scale Get-Out-the-Vote field experiments.
